The newly-appointed Iranian Defence Advisor of the Islamic Republic of Iran Colonel Abrahim Rouhany called on the Commander of the Sri Lanka Navy, Vice Admiral Jayanath Colombage at the Naval Headquarters in Colombo on 04th June 2013. He was accompanied by the outgoing Defence Advisor Lieutenant Colonel Khorram Lajevardi.
