Motor Boat of 43 tons. Built 1940.
Returned 1944. Was later owned by an ex-shipmate?? in Napier
During October 1943 the short lines of mines in the minor channels on either side of Rakino Island in the Hauraki Gulf were swept by the HMNZS Thomas Currell and HMNZS Kaiwaka, the small motor-vessel HMNZS Ikatere acted as danlayer.
