HMNZS Sanda – Always sad, but somehow intriguing sight: the Isles Class trawler and auxiliary minesweeper, HMNZS Sanda, RNZN 1941-46, lies in a breakers yard awaiting her fate. Taken about 1970. Of 740 tons full load, in her naval heydey she had a complement of 40, and was armed with a single 12 pounder, three Oerlikons and DCs.
Looks like another one astern of her.
