Shown for the record, this is another of the many US Navy photographs we have shown of the cruiser HMAS HOBART [I] on her arrival at the Esperitu Santo forward base in the New Hebrides after being torpedoed by a Japanese submarine while returning from patrol in the Coral Sea on July 20, 1943.
