INS Ranvir

The Indian Rajput class destroyer RANVIR (D 54) is pulled away from the pier at a Persian Gulf port. The ship is a Soviet BPK project 61-ME (NATO – Kashin II-class destroyer) purchased by the Indian government.

INS Ranvir is the fourth of the five Rajput-class destroyers built for the Indian Navy. Ranvir was commissioned on 28 October 1986.
