The Commander Ducuing is a type A 69 Estienne d’Orves class aviso of the French Navy . Its visual sign: F 795 . His godmother city is Saint Raphael . It is also sponsored by the Acoram , the Naval Reserves Association, in memory of reserve captain Gabriel Ducuing , founder of Acoram , who died in front of the enemy on 25 May 1940 at Cape Nez .
