ATLANTIC OCEAN (Jan. 25, 2020) A E-2D Hawkeye, assigned to Air Test and Evaluation Squadron (VX) 20, approaches the aircraft carrier USS Gerald R. Ford (CVN 78). Ford is currently conducting Aircraft Compatibility Testing to further test its Electromagnetic Aircraft Launch Systems (EMALS) and Advanced Arresting Gear (AAG).
