Resupply day at McMurdo Station in Antarctica on 13 February 1971, with a pair of US Coast Guard Icebreakers supporting US and New Zealand Naval Auxiliaries delivering dry goods and fuel to the station.

Ships present are, from left to right;

USNS Maumee (T-AO-149) with USCGC Staten Island (WAGB-278) moored outboard, USNS Wyandot (T-AKA-92) with USCGC Burton Island (WAGB-283) moored outboard and across the bay the HMNZS Endeavour (A-184), formerly the Patapsco Class Gasoline Tanker USS Namakogon (AOG-53).

Bonus tidbit, though the HMNZS Endeavour would go on to serve in the New Zealand Navy for another five years, she was transferred to the Taiwanese Navy in 1976 and entered service as the ROCS Lung Chuan (AOG-507). She remained in active commission with the ROC Navy through 2005!
